Service Date - Remove an Extra

TO REMOVE AN EXTRA SERVICE DATE
If a service date has been entered in error prior to a calving event:

1. Do not enter the calving date of the cow.
2. Go to Entries: Service/heat date. 
3. Identify the animal that needs to have a service date removed by typing her number and pressing the tab key or highlight her in the list and double click your mouse. 
4. Click on the button beside the heat date field that has a blue arrow. 
5. A box with all entered service dates should appear blue with white text. 
6. Highlight the date that you want to have deleted/edited and double click it. 
7. The service event will appear on the screen 
8. If this service date is to be deleted, press the black X (3rd button on the toolbar). 
9. The service date will be deleted.
10. Save data by clicking on the save button (2nd icon from the left) or pressing the F9 key

Note: The service date will not be permitted to be deleted if there is a calving date recorded after that service date. The calving date must be deleted under Entries, calving.

To edit a service date, do not press the black X on the tool bar - just change the data that needs to be edited and then press the Save (2nd button from the left on the tool bar) or press the F9 key.
